Who we are
Kapow is an online store operated by LRI Projects, a business registered in France. You can reach us any time at lriprojects@proton.me and we will reply within one business day.
Information we collect
When you place an order we collect the information you give us: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information. Payment card details are handled by Shopify and our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
When you browse the store we automatically collect device and usage data through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you.
How we use it
- To process, fulfill and deliver your order
- To email you about your order and answer your support requests
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To send marketing messages if you opted in, which you can stop at any time using the unsubscribe link
- To measure and improve how the store performs
Who we share it with
We share personal information with the service providers that run the business for us: Shopify, which hosts the store and processes payments; our shipping and fulfillment partners, so they can deliver your order; and our analytics and advertising providers, so we know which pages and ads work.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some of the data shared with advertising providers may still count as a sale or share under California law, and you can opt out of that at any time by emailing us.
Children
Our products are toys for children, but the store is intended for adults making the purchase. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email lriprojects@proton.me and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
To use any of these rights, email lriprojects@proton.me with the subject line "Privacy request". We will confirm your identity before acting on the request, and we will never treat you differently or charge you more for making one.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you can ask us which categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Email lriprojects@proton.me with the subject line "Do not sell or share my personal information" and we will action it within the statutory deadline.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for seven years, which is the period we need for tax and accounting obligations. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
Security
The store runs entirely over an encrypted HTTPS connection and payments are processed on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store payment card data ourselves.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be announced by email to customers on our list.
